Echo Managed Services acquires London based debt collection agency Inter-Credit International

Echo Managed Services, the leading customer services and billing software provider to UK utilities and public sector announced it has acquired London based debt collection agency, Inter-Credit International.

Phil Newland, Echo’s Managing Director commented that acquiring a debt business was one of the firm’s key priorities for this financial year. Newland reiterated the investment marks an important milestone as Echo welcomes the Inter-Credit team to Echo.
Inter-Credit is an excellent strategic fit for Echo and will further strengthen Echo’s debt collection offering, he said. Echo will leverage on Inter-Credit’s decade’s worth of experience in credit management and debt collection, said Newland.

Inter-Credit has over 40 years experience in credit management and debt collection and specialize in UK and worldwide account collection, sales ledger management, tracing services and status reporting. Inter-Credit provides exceptional collection services for both consumer and commercial clients including governmental agencies, water utilities, publishing, manufacturing and financial services.

Echo provides customer process management services for UK and Ireland regulated organizations. A wholly owned subsidiary of South Staffordshire Plc, the firm has around 500 employees at shared service centres in the Midlands and Northern Ireland.
