UK based firms Borble and Label First merge creating a £2.3 million turnover company

UK based firms Borble and Label First have sealed their merger, creating a 2.3 million pounds firm. The two label firms announced their merger deal Monday, with the fresh entity expected to have a turnover of the 2.3 million pounds. Under the terms of the agreement for the merger, Labels First managing director Gary Lovell will become a joint owner of the new entity and will be assisted by Gavin Scott.

Labels First is based in Berkshire and was begun by its managing director Gary Lovell whereas Borble was co-founded by Gavin Scott. The two will share the management of the created firm. Borble co-founder Barry Griffith is set to resign from the firm as a shareholder even though he will hold an active role in the larger business. Further to these, the new entity is expected to begin its operations from Borble’s precincts based in Rhyl and be rebranded in due time.

The Labels manager reiterated that he was upbeat over the investment, as it marks an important milestone in the growth and development of the firms. Ever since it commenced operations, Label’s has grown gradually to become one of the most successful customer-focused label suppliers. In the same timescale, Borble has been an industry innovator in digital labeling and has been expanding at an incredible rate.

It was the first firm in the UK to utilize Xeikon’s 330 reel-to-reel digital label press. The combined entity is to bias its operations on the sales and marketing operations, with Lovell heading this business segment whereas Scott will be responsible for the operational segment of the business. In the last four years, the two firms have built a relationship that has subsequently led to this important step, said Scott.

Labels First is a label supplier for digital labels, food labels and tags and swing tickets.  According to the firm, most businesses in the UK use labels of some description, from which it derives its business. From retail quality product labels, to industrial supply labels, to plain white address labels. With over 400 label companies servicing this market, the list of suppliers immense and an increased offering presents an opportunity for greater business.

Borble Ltd is a designer and printer of unique blends of personalized and digitally printed borders, banners and posters. The firms merger with’ First Labels is expected to position it to better gain from the robust labels segment in the UK.
